Terms & Conditions
The terms on which Uyota's Style sells to you. Please read them before placing an order.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms apply to every order you place with Uyota's Style through this website, and to sales we arrange with you directly. Placing an order means you accept them. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published here on the date you order.
Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We confirm receipt of that order by email, but a contract between us is only formed once we send you an email confirming the order has been accepted. Until then no contract exists.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if there was an error in the price or description, or if we are unable to authorise your payment. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
Some sales are entered by our team on your behalf — for instance an order agreed in person or by message and paid by cash or bank transfer. These terms apply to those sales in the same way.
Pricing & Currency
Prices are shown on each product page and are charged in pounds sterling (GBP). The currency selector in the header converts prices for guidance only; unless we tell you otherwise at checkout, the amount you pay is taken in GBP and your bank or card provider sets the exchange rate and any conversion fee.
VAT and tax information is available on request. We take care to price everything correctly, but if we discover a genuine error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it.
For deliveries outside the UK, import duties or taxes may be charged on arrival by your local authorities. These are your responsibility and are not included in our prices.
Payment
We accept payment by debit and credit card and by PayPal. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details on our own systems.
Payment is taken when you place your order, unless we have agreed otherwise with you directly. Where a sale is settled by cash or bank transfer, the order is reserved and dispatched once payment is received, or on the terms we agree with you at the time. An order may be settled in instalments where we have agreed that with you; the goods remain ours until the full balance is paid.
If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back after dispatch, we may suspend or cancel the affected order and any related orders.
Delivery & Shipping
Delivery within the United Kingdom is free on orders over £75. Orders below that value are charged the delivery rate shown at checkout before you pay.
We aim to dispatch in-stock items within [TO CONFIRM: your dispatch time, e.g. 1–2 working days], with UK delivery typically taking [TO CONFIRM: your delivery estimate, e.g. 2–4 working days] after dispatch. Made-to-order pieces take longer — see below. These are estimates, not guarantees, and do not apply to circumstances outside our control.
We ship worldwide. Delivery is arranged through our shipping partner, Shippo, using a range of established carriers, and the delivery options and charges available to your address are shown at checkout before you pay.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact us and we will put it right.
Returns & Cancellation
Because you buy online, you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason, and receive a refund. To use this right, tell us within that period; you then have a further 14 days to return the goods. This right does not apply to made-to-order or personalised items — see below.
Beyond that statutory right, we also offer a more generous 30-day returns policy as a goodwill gesture. The full process, the condition items must be in, and who pays return postage are set out on our Returns & Exchanges page, which forms part of these terms.
None of this affects your separate legal rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose (see below).
Made-to-Order Items
Pieces created in the Design Studio — where you choose the fabric, the placement and any personalisation — are made to your specification, especially for you.
Because these items are bespoke, the 14-day online cancellation right described above does not apply to them: once we begin making a custom piece, it cannot be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind. Please check your design carefully before ordering. If you need to change or cancel a custom order, contact us as soon as possible and we will help if we can before work has started.
Your rights if a custom item arrives faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose are unaffected — those still apply in full. Made-to-order pieces take [TO CONFIRM: your making time, e.g. 2–3 weeks] before dispatch.
Our Liability & Your Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, everything we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits or removes those rights, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable to both of us when the contract was made, or for losses arising from your own failure to follow reasonable care instructions for the garment.
